2 Months

William "The Fridge" Perry

Will had his 2 month appt today. He was a model patient. He laughed when appropriate, cried when appropriate and was all around perfect for the nurse and doctor.

Here are his stats:
Weight: 12lbs 15oz (58%)
Height: Gotta do a re-check. He wouldn't stretch his legs out, so the length isn't correct.
Head: 15.75 inches (33%)

He wasn't a big fan of the shots, but then again who is? He cried for a split second and then was all smiles. The doctor gave him the "You're a perfect baby" seal of approval today. We go back in January for our 4 month appt. Can you imagine how big he'll be after Thanksgiving and Christmas? Lord have mercy!

Other wonderful things about Will:

• You're still sleeping like a champ. Naps aren't as consistent due to school schedules, etc., but you sleep through the night. We have an occasional wake up around 5:00am, but it's rare.
• We're trying to move to the crib, but it's not as successful as I'd like. You still like the closeness of the bassinet.
• You love bath time and the crying once you're out isn't as bad as it used to be.
• We're about to move you up to size 2 diapers. Size 1 still fits, but I think your chubby belly likes the extra room of size 2 diapers.
• You're wearing 3 month clothes. No more newborn stuff for you.
  
• Your mohawk is here to stay. No matter what I do to calm your hair down, it doesn't work.
• Your eyes are still blue. Yay!
• You smile and talk to us. You usually get on a roll and talk for a few minutes.
• I'm still #1
• You're slowly starting to like the swing and will stay in it for 20 min or so
• You tolerate the snuggly better facing out
• You're a perfect fit in our family and I can't imagine life without you.
• You look beautiful in yellow, blue and green.
• Your hair is turning blond.
• You still hate the car seat. SHOCKER!
• You eat 5oz at a time. Sometimes you'll take 6oz, but it averages out to 5oz. You've yet to have a drop of formula. I'm proud of this accomplishment. We've got this breastfeeding thing down pat.
