Guess Who?

If you think this is Will, you're wrong. This is a picture taken of Andrew when he was 3 months old. I can tell you that they look exactly alike. Once Will gets up from his nap I'll post one of him and you'll be shocked at how much he resembles Andrew. He even makes the same facial expression.

In other news... Will has his 2 month appt (yes, it's a few weeks late, but our doctor is popular and this was the first we could get AND we made the appt back in August.) on Tuesday. I'm dreading it and can't wait for it all at the same time. We get to see how big he's gotten, which I assure is big, but he gets shots at the same time. Boo! It's hard for me to believe he'll be 3 months old in 2 weeks. Where has the time gone?

Can you believe this face is 2 months old? Where has the time gone?


A few mentionables about you, my sweet, adorable, loveable cutie.

• You are a great sleeper and have been since day 1. We can usually get 6-7 hours out of you at night. Most days we get 2 naps out of you as well.
• You smile, coo, talk and giggle at us. You really seem to love it when your Ahmy acts silly and talks to you.
• You are a Mama's boy and I LOVE IT!
  
• You tolerate your brothers getting all up in your face.
• You managed to get the sniffles on your 2 month birthday. Ughh!
• You love bath time still
• You hate the swing and car seat with much passion
• You're still in size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes (still some newborn)
• You're eating 5 oz most of the time. We're still going strong with breastfeeding! Yay!
• You haven't been weighed since your 2 week check up, but I bet you're at least 11 lbs if not more.
• You're still in the bassinet. We tried the crib, but you keep rolling over.
• You roll from your tummy to your back very easily.
• You're a tummy sleeper and have been since week 5.
• You have the cutest mohawk or should I say faux hawk.
• We can't tell who you look like. Some days you look like Andrew and other days you look like Zachary. Either way you are destined to be gorgeous.
• You like to listen to Zac Brown Band
• Andrew can get you to stop crying just by talking to you.
• You want so badly to find your thumb permanently. Keep working at it!

William Cooper, you are such a wonderful addition to our family. I'm so glad you're here and look forward to watching you grow into a beautiful, young man.

Yo Perry Cribs

This crib isn't worth millions. It doesn't boast much square footage, garages or pools. The best it has to offer is chamois sheeting and a closet with built ins.

Tonight, Will will be spending his first night in his crib. He could probably squeeze in a few more nights in his bassinet, but we figure he'll enjoy a little more room. I thought I was ok with this arrangement, and I am, but walking out of his room tonight made me realize how fast he's growing and I'm not sure I am ready. Now we'll have to depend on the baby monitor instead of hearing his little grunts and noises.

I hope he sleeps well and gets comfortable. Sweet dreams my little bunny. Sweet dreams.

Date Knight

Andrew, Zachary and I enjoyed a date "knight" on Monday. Chick Fil-A hosted a Mother-Son Date Knight (hence the theme) filled with food, cake, blow up swords, Dragon slime, coloring, pictures, tables dressed with table cloths, flowers and "RESERVED" tags and roses for Mom. We enjoyed ourselves and I'm hoping I can date each one of my men more often. I really don't want Andrew and Zachary to get lost in the shuffle of having a new baby. My hope is I can take them each somewhere once a month. Hopefully with these early dates they'll learn the art of being a gentleman and when those teenage/dating years roll around it'll be second nature. That being said, PSA: All moms of girls, I assure you my boys will be gentlemen. It's not optional for our house. They will open doors, pull out chairs, stand when a lady walks in the room, take their hat off at the table, they will pump gas for your daughter (remind me to tell you this story later), they will say yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, no sir and by all means if her curfew is 10:00 she will be home at 9:50.
