We got back from Mexico on Friday. I'm glad to be home, but man I miss Mexico! Robbie and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves immensely and would love to go back tomorrow. We vacationed with our friends Julie and Jesse (now known as "Hoolie and Hesse"). We celebrated our 7 year anniversary and Julie celebrated her 30th birthday while in Mexico. Our resort was unbelievable! Some days the food was spectacular and other days I was wishing for my turkey wrap, add bacon, dressing on the side, no tomato or lettuce, chips and a drink. I believe I may have actually lost weight for the simple fear of eating something that would send me into a tail spin. Kudos to the chef on the mashed potatoes and gravy! If you're looking for a nice getaway I highly recommend Bluebay Grand Esmerelda Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Be sure to take at least $50.00 in one dollar bills. We weren't smart enough to get change and had a hard time finding people to give us change in US currency. The Mexican people don't even want their stinkin' pesos and neither do I.

Museum of Life and Science

We decided to take Andrew to the Museum of Life and Science a couple of weekends ago. He had an absolute blast! He wasn't too thrilled with the butterfly house, but he was especially interested in the tarantulas (UGHH!). He missed his usual nap time, but the lull of the train put him right to sleep. He thought he was riding on Thomas the Train and far be it from me to tell him any differently.

Preggo Pics (14 weeks)

We have our gender identification ultrasound on Friday. I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and starting to feel pregnant. I'll keep you all posted on whether Baby Perry is a girl or a boy. Pictures below are from week 14.

Potty Training

It's going. That's all I can say about it. It stinks, I hate it and I wish there was an easy button. My child knows he should use the potty, but he prefers to do so when it is convenient for him. He usually will use the potty at school a couple of times and then a couple of times he's too busy to mess with it and goes in his pull up. I guess 2 out of 4 times is better than none at all. At home we put him on the potty as much as possible, but he'll still use the bathroom in his pants. My mom managed to get him to poop in the potty, but thus far she's the only one who has had success. Eventually I will buck up and put him in underwear and if he soils himself... OH WELL! I bet a couple of times sitting in pee and poop will do the trick. We shall see.
