I've been telling you all for weeks now that Andrew has entered the "Terrible Twos" and some of you think I'm nuts. Well folks, I'm here to tell you he's there and has gotten quite comfortable with it.
Picture this... You take your sweet child to McDonald's for hotcakes. This particular McDonald's has a really cool play area. In one corner you have Cars playing on a plasma TV and at the front of the room you have this enormous play area with not one but two loopy slides. You tell sweet child he can play once he's eaten his hotcakes. Now I know my child isn't going to eat all 3 hotcakes, but he gets through 1.5, so that's good enough. Off he goes playing away. Enter sweet little girl stage right. Sweet child and sweet little girl start playing together happily. They each take turns and are sharing. This is what every mother wants to see. Both sweet children have brought cute little toys with them. Your child has a Dora book and the other a cute happy meal toy. All is well while they are SHARING, but what happens when sweet little girl wants her toy back??? You guessed it she gets a nice chomp on her hand, and no, she didn't bite herself! The little shark you brought with you has gotten angry and decide to leave nice teeth marks on this precious child's hand. What do you do? Well if you're me you spank his tail and tell the little girl to bite him back. Does she do it? Heavens no b/c her family has already beat her tail for biting and she knows better. Fortunately this little girl's grandmother is extremely understanding and lets me know that sweet little girl bites too. End result: there's no way to feel good about your child being Jaws. Lucky for Andrew the room had a few occupants or he would have felt fire coming from his legs.
There you have it folks. My morning in a nutshell.
